Our goal is to meet your unique dental needs in a comfortable, caring, and friendly environment, where patients of all ages can feel at ease. Our team is serious about our work, but we love to have a good laugh and take pride in the relationships we build with our patients in Garden City, KS and throughout Southwest Kansas. We offer full hygiene services, as well as teeth whitening, veneers, crowns and bridges, tooth-colored fillings, and more. For our more nervous patients, we provide nitrous oxide conscious sedation.
Our practice is a Blue Cross/Blue Shield and Delta Dental provider. We also accept CareCredit. With three Spanish-speaking staff, we welcome Spanish-speaking patients!
Meet Our Team
Dr. James Etling
Dr. Etling was born and raised in Garden City. He graduated from Garden City High School in 1973 with honors, and from Kansas State University in 1977 with honors and a B.S. in Biology. He attended Northwestern University Dental School and graduated in 1981.
Dr. Etling worked in Chicago for one year as a practice associate and as a part-time clinical instructor at the University of Illinois Dental School. In 1982, he returned to Garden City and took over the practice of Dr. Paul Neede.
Dr. Etling is married with two stepsons. He is involved with the local YMCA, Big Brothers-Big Sisters, and the United Methodist Church. He is now doing a little traveling and doting on nine grandchildren when not practicing dentistry or puttering around in the yard and garden.
Donna Osbon
Donna has 37 years of dental assisting experience, 23 years of which have been with Dr. Etling. She is married to Bill, with two sons and four grandchildren. She loves to be out on the Harley with her husband.
Patricia Martinez
Patricia has 21 years of experience, 15 years of which have been with Dr. Etling. She is a very versatile assistant, working with both the doctor and at the reception desk. She is married to Gilbert and has two children and one grandchild. She speaks Spanish fluently.
Veronica Aguiniga
Veronica is a former dental assistant and a 2017 graduate of the Colby Community College dental hygiene program. She is married to Paul and has five children. She is active in St. Dominic’s Church and with her grandchildren. She speaks Spanish fluently.
Mariela Salas
Mariela has six years of experience in managing the reception desk and handling your insurance claims. She has two children and speaks Spanish.
